Residential Assisted Living & Dementia Care in Atlanta, GA

Our Care is Personal, and Every Resident is Known

At Safe Haven Senior Living, we believe care should feel less like a system and more like a family. That’s why our approach to assisted living and dementia care is rooted in personal connection, thoughtful attention, and a truly intimate environment.

We are not a large, impersonal facility. Instead, we operate small, residential personal care homes where each resident is known by name, cared for with compassion, and treated like a member of our own family. This allows us to provide a level of support and emotional connection that larger communities simply can’t replicate.

In most senior living communities, state regulations require a 1:15 caregiver-to-resident ratio during the day, and even fewer staff overnight. At Safe Haven, we’ve intentionally chosen to go far beyond that standard. We operate with a 1:6 or even 1:3 caregiver-to-resident ratio, allowing us to provide:

  • Immediate, responsive care at any time of day
  • Individualized attention that adapts as care needs change
  • Better monitoring of nutrition, hydration, mobility, and mood
  • Deeper understanding of each resident’s personality, habits, and preferences

This model gives families real peace of mind, knowing their loved one is not only safe, but truly seen and supported.

Our residences are set in quiet, residential neighborhoods and structured to feel like a home, not a facility.

Even as needs change, we are committed to helping every resident maintain as much independence, choice, and autonomy as possible. From involving residents in their daily routines to honoring their unique life stories and preferences, we strive to ensure they continue to live with meaning and purpose.

Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care

Our team has over a decade of personal and professional experience in caring for seniors with complex diagnoses. We believe the most effective care comes from people who truly know and understand you. That’s why we invest time in building trust with residents and with their families. Over time, these bonds create a foundation of comfort and emotional security that makes a powerful difference in daily life. It’s not just about keeping someone safe. It’s about helping them feel respected, connected, and truly at home.
