Since opening our doors in 2007, Safe Haven residential assisted living and dementia care homes have been places where families find peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are truly seen, heard, and supported.

A Family Legacy of Care

The story of Safe Haven began with a personal journey. When our founder’s grandmother was diagnosed with dementia, the family searched for a care community that felt like home, but what they found was a long list of places that fell short of what their grandmother deserved.

“When my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia, there came a time when we had to seek care for her. It didn’t take long to realize all the qualities I didn’t want in a place. As we toured many different facilities, I felt like she didn’t belong in any of them. We wanted to create a space where she and her friends could live comfortably with high-quality care—and that’s exactly what we did.”

Unlike larger facilities, Safe Haven maintains an exceptional caregiver-to-resident ratio, as low as 1:6 or even 1:3. This allows our team to offer highly personalized support, respond quickly in emergencies, and build genuine relationships with each resident.

Great care starts with great people. At Safe Haven, we hire caregivers who have not only the right skills but also the right heart. Every team member is trained in-house and must hold either a CNA certification or an MA in caregiving. Ongoing education throughout the year ensures our team stays current with the best practices in senior care and dementia support.
